Moving on from the mythalogical / fable into the animal storylines with this and prevously Dumbo this takes on a more serious undertone compared to its predecessor Dumbo. A very dark scene with Death introduced to the young fawn this left its mark on many a child / adult who was disturbed by the classic scene - emotive, dark and overall an epic journey in the life of the forest - a classic disney animation.
