Review of Bambi (2013) by Dann M — 04 Jul 2012
It's one of Walt Disney's most celebrated and daring films of all time. Bambi is the story of a young fawn born a prince, and his adventures growing up and making friends with the creatures of the woods.
The animation is quite vivid for the time, and does a great job at capturing the movements of animals realistically. Plus, the characters are incredibly fun and they inject a lot humor into the film. However, the storytelling is poor; the transitions between seasons are jarring and the story feels incomplete.
Still, there's a lot to like in Bambi and it's a fun family film.
