Review of Bambi (2013) by Patryk C — 28 Jul 2012

I was about to lump this as another Disney classic filled with simple morals and big-eyes, long-lashed animals, but then I started thinking about it. For a kid's film, and one from the 1940s, it covers some pretty heavy stuff, such as the death of Bambi's mum, Bambi growing up, fighting and then shagging (albeit in coy, inferred terms, with gorgeous wind-swept moonlight pastures and soaring vocals).

Great film.
