Bambi is warm, richly drawn and spirited, a classic feature from Disney's first renaissance. It features memorable characters, a moving story and points out, daringly, that man is one of the greatest villains in the world.
It radiates charm and depth and its touching plot is ultimately a tear-jerker for all ages.
