Review of Bambi (2013) by Chris M — 25 Sep 2013

Keep in mind, my criticism to this movie isn't going to be new; it hasn't been said in a long time. Not it's not that it's cutesy that turns me off. I can take that. It's because it's trying to portray hunters (or man as the animals call them in this movie) as evil beings just to make the animals look innocent. The last I checked, animals like deer, rabbits, ect. featured in this movie are considered fair game and they over populate fast. That's why there exists hunting seasons!

If it weren't for that gripe, this movie is just okay. It does portray wildlife as wildlife and the animals move and act like real animals (where in Snow White they looked cartoony). While I don't hate it, I hardly watch it.
