Review of Bambi (1942) by Graeme H — 03 Jul 2011
A film that the studio's modern suits should reference more often: magic and happiness interspersed with real life feelings of severe carnal and emotional loss. Bambi's mother does not play dead as the subsequent cliche goes, she is physically dead.
Children have to understand this.
