No, it's not a great movie - did anyone really expect it to be? It is, however, incredibly laugh out-loud funny in spots, which makes up for all of the dull moments leading up to them. Cho should probably just cut to the chase and make a short film starring herself as her mom - THAT would satisfy the masses ;-).
