Review of Balto (1995) by Tiffany A — 26 Feb 2008
Now this movie brings back memories. I remember that when I was young and full of innocence, every now and then my mother would allow me to eat dinner in my room and watch a movie at the same time, wow multitasking, not really.
I remember that every time that this special event came about and we were having chicken nuggets for dinner, I would watch Balto. I know what your thinking why chicken nuggets? Well I'll explain. I would make a incision so that all of the chicken could be removed without damaging the exterior.
After this I would make all of the exteriors into little dog heads and have them pull my freedom fry sled to Ketchup land. Boy o boy this movie is probably the reason that I'm so fucked in the head today, but I love it none the less.
Who doesn't love a story of a sick girl and a pack consisting of talking dogs, a goose and some polar bears who go to get her medicine. In real life the polar bears would tear of Balto's head, but who am I to ruin the magic of a childhood classic?
