Review of Balto (1995) by Jeanette H — 22 Jul 2011
It's a Disney-esque film that's simply OK. The main problem is the sidekicks are not remotely helpful, or even entertaining. Also, the cut from live action to animation to live action again makes no sense. If she was the little girl who was saved, shouldn't she still be animated however many years later?
All in all, this is good for kids, but the older viewers who want some sort of substance should look elsewhere.
