Review of Balto (1995) by Chris M — 10 Jun 2007
No matter how old I grow, this animated film always retains my heart. There is nothing more powerful than doign something for someone else, tossing everything aside, including your own safety. Even though, like Amadeus, this is a truth strecher (there was no Steele or one dog seld team) this one is still the best in show.
This makes all the 3d animation today look like lack-luster bombs. Where have all the great movies gone? Appearently the way of Balto; a truly forgotten classic. If you own it? Keep it for a whole new generation to enjoy.
Maybe it can warm some hearts.
