Review of Balls of Fury (2007) by Matthew D — 07 Apr 2014
I surprisingly had a lot of fun with this movie. It was actually pretty funny! I'm glad that they gave this cast funny things to say and do. While most jokes revolve around typical "ball gags," others are unexpected and are well received. There are scenes in this movie that I just think about and laugh at during the day for no reason, I KNOW RIGHT, I couldn't believe it either. The cast did great, except for George Lopez who looked like he was trying a little to hard, everyone looked like they were having fun. To me, Christopher Walken stole the movie, he had several funny lines and moments!
Overall, I'm glad I saw this movie, while the story is clichéd and won't win any awards, I didn't care, I liked the jokes and humor implemented and had fun watching these guys smack balls back and forth.
4/5 stars (ya, I'm shocked too).
