Review of Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever (2002) by Jason G — 03 Nov 2009

Action movies don't get much more bland, mindless, or over-the-top. There are fist fights, gun fights, car chases, and explosions galore, yet the film never generates much excitement or suspense. It is emotionally empty and the plot is an incoherent piece of trash, but at least it isn't trying to be anything that it's not. That is, a brain dead piece of tripe.

Mostly, I give the film credit for having an awesome soundtrack.
