Review of Ballast (2008) by Marvin H — 11 Oct 2008
Amazing film. Surpasses most attempts at "realism" by leaps and bounds. The director really mastered the tone. It's kind of obvious that the actors are "non-professional" in some cases, but it doesn't ultimately remove you too much.
And Tarra Riggs as the mother is simply amazing.
