A quiet and beautiful masterpiece. Director Lance Hammer's debut is reminiscence of the empathy and poetry shown in "George Washington." The actors are all amateurs, but take to the camera naturally in this tale of tragedy, redemption and family, beautifully photographed in the MIssissippi Delta.
