Review of Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) by Bilal S — 19 Jul 2015
First things First: I haven't been Salman Khan's FAN since WANTED!
What do you expect from a Salman Khan Flick? Lots of silly Jokes, weird Song and Dance sequences and a full action Hero kicks Villain kind of climax.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is nothing like above mentioned ingredients(except for dane :P ) and that my dear friend is USP of it.
Kabir Khan, V. Vijayendra Prasad (S.S. Rajamouli's father), Parveez Shaikh and Asad Hussain bring together a heart touching story of Shahida aka Munni, a Pakistan kid lost in India and Pavan Kumar Chaturvedi aka Bajrangi, a brahmin hanuman devotee. Bajrangi has decided to reunite Munni with her parents at any cost but as keeps saying: "Hum Bajrang Bali ke bhakt hai aur chori chupe kuch nahi karte".
Salman Khan is very good actor and Bajrangi Bhaijaan proves that once and for all, all he needs are good scripts and story tellers. Nawazuddin Siddiqui again proves why Indian Movie Industry needs more artists like him and Harshaali Malhotra emotes beautifully in every frame of this movie that binds humans beyond religion and borders.
Hats Off to kabir Khan for making such a beautiful movie with so many hidden emotions that we seem to forget in day-to-day fights.
Lastly, If Salman Khan continues these kind of movies backed with good stories once in a while then I am ready to watch his every movie on BIG SCREEN!
