Review of Baghead (2008) by Sean L — 17 Sep 2008
I didn't know what to think when I this film, because it was described as a horror comedy. But after watching it I realised that the Duplass brothers could be the next big thing in the indie circuit.
The jumpy camera makes it look like a documentry, which sorta makes the plot look natural. The acting is slightly improvised which makes the actors seem real as well. It's strange flow from funny to scary is very original, it slows down in mibble but thankfully it speeds up near the end.
In short, it bridges the gap between the George Lucas fans and John Cassavetes enthusiasts... I guess.
