This is a movie you have to work for to find the good parts. Just watching it doesn't do it justice. Sadly enough it never reaches all the way. Most of the time I like movies where the actors make some genuine input while delivering their lines and I liked Greta Gerwig a lot in Hannah Takes The Stairs.
She is not as good in this one though. With some work you can find a few golden nuggets in the movie and those few moments keeps it interesting for me.
