An independent horror film, literally created on a shoe-string budget of roughly $1000( I think). I'm not quite sure if directors Jay and Mark Duplass created this film for goofs or if they had a much more sinscere message in mind.

I understand this is only a horror film but it tries to do a bit more and I think it gets a little confused. The acting within the movie is extremely laughable, but I think this gives the movie some essence.

It's a very campy film with a mix of candid shots with the soul of some bad 80's horror film, shot on someone's home digital video camera. The plot of the film is slightly interesting after the main characters attend an underground film festival they are inspired to make the next big independent film.

While up at a cabin brain storming one of the ideas for their film comes true, a serial killer with a bag over his head shows up on their door step. "Baghead" is such a difficult film because it tries to scare you, make you laugh, and just plain make you care but it doesn't do everything all that well.

The movie just broadens it's horizon too far without really focusing on one aspect that could make it reasonably good i.e. it should'vd been a comedy with some horror or a romance with some horror.

This throws comedy, romance, and horror all in the grinder and hopes that a clear message will be the result. If there was more comedy and less sexual tension I think I would have enjoyed this film a whole lot more than I did.

However for an extremely low budget horror flick it's okay, not great or good but okay.
