Review of Bagdad Cafe (1987) by Pamela H — 16 Sep 2010
Off beat but heart warming. The film is set in a barely on the map (from Wikipedia, it turns out the town of Bagdad did exist at one time) desert town with despair written all over it. The lives of the two lead women is in turmoil.
But magic happens as they find friendship and understanding.
