A simple and predictable story but its diabetic, mushy tricks work. The leads are charming and their chemistry allows them to pull-off many gimmicky sequences with aplomb. Good entertainment and some well needed social messages too.
It also helps that the director avoids the usual story arcs around the parental opposition.
