Review of Bad Words (2013) by Joe C — 06 Apr 2014
Jason Bateman proves how much of a talented mind he poses in this cleaver, outrageous and always caustic comedy about a man in his 40's wanting to enroll and win the spelling bee Golden Quill National.
His film is really well written, very well acted and incredibly fresh and different from pretty much anything we get to watch at the movies. Bateman is a master at insulting people with the worst vulgarities ever while keeping a straight face and still managing to be likeable as a person.
A tour de Force!
