Review of Bad Words (2013) by Nathan H — 09 Aug 2014
This movie has a great deal of vulgar language, but it is not extremely vulgar. Meaning that there is not a lot potty humor. The enjoyment of those moments depends on your personality. Most of the effective humor come from the ridiculousness of a grown man developing rivalry and friendships with 10 year olds.
If you are a Jason Bateman fan you will get an even greater enjoyment out of these jokes. At the same time, even though it is only an hour and a half it seems padded at times. And a few of the characters hardly even seem necessary.
