Review of Bad Teacher (2011) by Ryan V — 01 Aug 2012
At first I was not going to see this movie, par its slight funniness in the trailers, and thin plot. However, after seeing all of the other movies out in the theaters that interest me, I thought why not.
Cameron Diaz is introduced as an I don't care teacher that has other, more monetary, objectives. She is leaving the school to get married to a rich man. As always, things go array in a way that you suspect and she is back at the school.
Her performance was decent but many times she comes across as ditzy. Through the first part of the movie, you loose some interest. As the movie progresses, she has twists and turns that are foreseeable but interesting to watch.
Jason Segel is brilliant as always as an all American gym teacher and is well balanced with the quirky acting by Justin Timberlake. This movie was funny but forgettable, nothing of a major twist, defiantly a must see, but a must see in a DVD.
