In order to enjoy or even endure Bad Teacher, you need to be able to muscle your way past the politics and absurdness of the entire premise. If you can do this (which many will not, understandably) then you may well be carried along simply by Cameron Diaz's committed and rebellious performance, making an extremely average script feel more warm and charming.
