Review of Bad Taste (1987) by Maico * — 17 Jan 2008
If it was suppost to be awful then Peter Jackson succeeded. I love indie films but this takes the biscuit. The acting is beyond bad. It borders on ludacris. The actors were all crap. One even looked a bit like the old Doctor Who with his stupid red and yellow scarf on.
The plot wouldn't be funny or even decent even if it was made by a huge Hollywood production company. The gore effects were seriously bad but that couldn't have been helped on such a tight budget.
This one must have consisted of a few pound coins and a banana. And on top of that the direction wasn't even that great. Not one of Jackson's best films.
