Review of Bad Taste (1987) by Joshua S — 07 Feb 2008
This is PURE SCHLOCK!
The days of Peter Jackson's youth in film, the days of little budget basically no budget, and gore enticed black humour.
I love the idea of placing all the humanoid aliens with mullets, blue buttonup shirts and jeans.
This in its satirical and parodied state of mind was way ahead of its time, and now even to this date audience members still dont get it.
Along with Meet The Feebles and Braindead, this film mocked and made fun of in a stairical and black mood of horror films and B-grade plotlines... I wish horror films were still enticing this behaviour!
