Review of Bad Taste (1987) by James W — 18 Aug 2008
What can you really say about this film, but that it productionally is brilliant (considering its very low budget). The film was all funded out of Peter Jackson's own back pocket when he worked for a local newspaper, but by the skill shown and some of the adventurous shots you wouldnt think it at times.
Yes the acting it awful and the film has a cheap look about it, but if you can see past the acting etc it is very entertaining. This film proves that even with a low budget and little/no film making experience it is still possible to create a successful and creative film.
