Review of Bad Taste (1987) by Brett D — 20 Aug 2008
The first time I saw this movie I didn't care for it. I thought it was boring and somewhat stupid. After I watched this again tonight I was kind of shocked that I liked it a lot more this time. The head getting cracked open by Peter Jackson's character still got to me.
The puke scene didn't have the same effect on me this time probably because I knew it was coming. Bad Taste did drag a little bit in some spots especially the driving scenes towards the beginning.
There were plenty of scenes that I forgot about that were really funny. Overall this is a very entertaining movie. I am still having trouble believing that the guy that directed Lord of the Rings did this movie.
