His first major film (?), self financed methinks (so you got to love the struggle), great use of the camera (check out the part where the stake is driven thru the alien's foot...you can tell why the Lord of the Rings trilogy would come from him), AND a sheep blown up by a bazooka.
..A Dinnertime Classic!
