Review of Bad Taste (1987) by Puck V — 21 Aug 2011
Peter Jackson's first directorial debut on this low-budget horror-comedy. While it doesn't exactly hit the same stunning heights as his later horror-comedy Dead Alive, it's still highly watchable and fun.
The gore effects were homemade, yet pretty damn gross, and the plot is simplistic enough for gorehounds. I'd call this "Good Taste". Isn't it ironic how Peter Jackson once directed gore comedies like this long before directing the Lord of the Rings trilogy (which is phenomenal)?
