Review of Bad Santa (2003) by Jelena D — 25 Dec 2010
Probably one of the best unconventional choices there are for Christmas movies, "Bad Santa" can get you laughing or (depending on your sense of humor) at least throw a few well-deserved smirks here and there.
Billy Bob Thornton is Bad Santa incarnate: an alcohol-gulping, chain-smoking criminal that specializes in opening safes. He works at malls disguised as Santa, with a midget disguised as Elf, his Little Helper, only to rob the store on Christmas Day.
Bad Santa discovers fatherhood somewhere along the way when a fat kid with a runny nose, victim of constant bullying, opens his house and his heart to the fake Santa, only to make a real Santa out of him in the end.
