This is one of my sister's favourite films. I thought it looked awful from the trailers but her passion for it made me give it a look when it was on TV.
Unfortunately it is pretty much a one-gag movie. I get the joke it's just badly done IMHO with a weird mishmash of supporting characters. My wife and I almost turned off half-way through but thought we'd let it run. It did get funnier in the 2nd half thanks mainly to Thurman Merman.
