Christmas with a dark twist sums it up. I've seen a lot of nice heart-warming, family values and fun Christmas movies over my time but this one was a new one for me. It had a department store, a Santa and an elf fair enough but a Santa that really brings down the colour and Christmas spirit of a nice Christmas movie is another thing.

That's the only flaw with the movie, if you're expecting a light-hearted family comedy, it's more of a Christmas Day or Boxing Day late evening movie - something for the adults, something a little more dirty, scruffy, smelly and 'blue'.

All credit to Billy-Bob, he plays the role brilliantly, but it's his look, attitude and language that makes this one so amusing on a different level.
