Review of Bad Santa (2003) by Raven D — 30 May 2011

--"You're pretty regular for Santa.".

--"It's just a job, you know what I mean. I'm an eating, drinkin, sh*tting, fu*kin Santa Claus.".

Absolutely hilarious. You are guaranteed to laugh to the point of having a sore jaw and an upset stomach. Personally I believe that holiday films don't get any better than this. I watch it every Christmas, and at least once a month, and let me tell you "Bad Santa" never gets old. It's the best holiday film out there. An hour and half of complete vulgarity, nonstop raunchiness, continuous laughs and pure holiday comedic enjoyment for adults. So while you put "Elf" or "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" on for the kids, put "Bad Santa" on for the adults and prepare for some seriously funny sh*t. One liner's galore and great jokes, Bad Santa is must-see comedy, and I personally dare you not to laugh. You've never seen Santa like this, a perpetually drunkin alcoholic thief who passionately hates kids and Christmas. Talk about Bah-Hum-Bug this guy makes Ebenezer Scrooge look like an angel. Highly recommended. A part of all of us hates the holiday season but nothing like this. Director Terry Zwigoff constructed a complete gut-buster.

Billy Bob Thornton is hilariouly pathetic in his role as an alcoholic, sex-fiend, thief who also happens to be the local mall's Santa Claus...Enough said. Tony Cox is great and was made to play a black elf on the big screen. John Ritter is awesome, in sadly, his last performance before he passed away. Bernie Mac is funny as hell too, another star who passed away entirely too soon. A tribute film to two spectacular comedic minds in John Ritter and Bernie Mac, both of whom will be truly missed.
