Review of Bad Santa (2003) by Sandra D — 21 Nov 2010
Surprising comic brilliance from the director of the mini-masterpiece "Ghost World". Terry Zwigoff gives us Billy Bob Thornton in what would become a typecasting bonanza role as a boozing, skirt chasing, loser who becomes a department store Santa in order to the case the joint- with his partner, one of his "little helpers".
So fresh and unexpected in it's humor and the complete lack of ability to see where it's going- it's an instant holiday classic, Whether the other holiday classics like it or not.
