Review of Bad News Bears (2005) by Trent C — 16 Jul 2007
Not as good as the original, as it softened some of the blows (non-alcoholic beer?), but for this day and age, it's pretty ballsy. Billy Bob Thornton is great as Buttermaker, and the kids for the most part do their jobs well.
It represents modern suburbian kids and their parents quite well. Pretty good comedy in a time where most comedies fall horribly short.
