The biggest problem with this movie, besides the fact that it is devoid of humor, is that instead of trying to harness the unique talents of Kinnear and Thorton to create a new interpretation of the film, the director seemed happy with a movie that is almost identical to the original.

Sadly, despite the similarities, it doesn't come close to the original and is merely another forgettable comedy. After Bad Santa, you would think that the combination of an alcoholic Billy Bob Thorton and a group of kids would be funny.

You would be dead wrong.
