Not a bad movie. I just don't understand the point of making it. Linklater usually makes smarter choices than this, but here he remakes a movie without any significant changes at all. I love Thornton, but other than a job change for Buttermaker there's nothing new here.
The original did it better and Thornton did it better in "Bad Santa".
