This is one of those very dead in the water remakes that no one has the balls to admit to. the original version was more vulgar and un-pc. this version is too family friendly and not honest in it's approach.

it feels like it was made so it can be included in the remake genre. none of the actors felt involved and seemed to be there for a pay check. the kid actors sucked too and were not as bratty or vulgar as the one's from the original.

sammi kane kraft who played amanda though sadly died from a tragic accident in 2012. she was 20. if there was one reason to watch this it'd be for her. other than that this film really sucks.
