A masterpeice of Independent film - certainly Ferrara's best film and possibly Keitel's finest performance ever as the corrupt cop searching for redemption as he slides further into the torment.
The film has so many stand-out scenes - but you gotta love the 'masturbation over teenage girls in their car' bit - at once sleazy and yet so funny. Sadly missing the Schooly D soundtrack that accompanied the original theatrical release.
