There are some movies that are good. There are also some movies that are great. Then there is Bad Lieutenant. This movie is so amazing that it might not be possible to convey it without either showing someone the actual movie or punching them in the face while screaming "BAD LIEUTENANT IS YOUR GOD NOW!". Seriously, it's that good. Harvey Keitel does cocaine. Then he does heroin. Then he has sex with prostitutes. Then he does more coke. This movie is amazing. There have been few movies that have been made that are anywhere near as fucked up as this one is. No matter how old you are your mom most definitely won't let you see this movie. She will ground you if you watch it. Everything awesome that could happen does happen......in this movie.
(This review only refers to the NC-17 version of this film. All other versions are obsolete and marketed to assholes who can't comprehend Bad Lieutenant).
