Review of Bad Lieutenant (1992) by Konrad R — 19 Jan 2009
I can't see many other high profile actors taking the lead role that Harvey Keitel did. I'm also not sure if I should be giving quick summaries about what these movies are about, but I assume if someone is interested, they can read that.
In a one sentence summary, it is basically about a bad cop in the last stages: he's got a gigantic gambling addiction, he's a drug addict, he is a vigilante, as he takes money from thieves to let them off, for example.
In a lot of scenes, it puts Keitel in a precarious state and a very bare one. This movie is a cult classic, but I'm not sure it deserves to be known as a classic movie.
