Review of Bad Lieutenant (1992) by Ojas V — 17 Sep 2009
Some nice work by Ferrara (who Scorcese wishes he was), and some even nicer work by Keitel as a police lieutenant who does everything a police lieutenant probably shouldn't ever do. The whole film revolves around Keitel and while he gives a standout performance, the lacking in plot leaves too much on his shoulders and near the end as he becomes hysterical, the film starts to slip.
Definitely worth seeing for Keitel fans mind.
