Abel Ferrara's cult classic about a crooked cop played by the amazing Harvey Keitel who investigates a young nun's rape all the while trying to change his ways and finding forgiveness.
Harvey Keitel is fantastic as the corrupt detective with a serious drug and gambling addiction. Be warned on a few parts in this movie, most notably the rape scene and an early scene in which Keitel is shown nude (full frontal). Keitel's character is one uber corrupt cop that makes Denzel Washington's corrupt cop in Training Day look like Serpico. This cop is one crazy son of a bitch that gets what pretty much he deserves by the end of the film. Definitely ranks as one of the best cult movies to come out of the '90s.
