Review of Bad Lieutenant (1992) by Christopher S — 03 Sep 2010
Much like the Nic Cage version, this movie did not have any proper plot, it just showed how The Bad Lieutenant went about his daily drug-induced routine and ruined his life. Harvey Keitel gives an astonishing performance which I think is what makes this film good, but it will require another watch I reckon.
From what I can remember, even though this one features no iguanas, I think I prefer it to the 2010 Nicolas Cage insanity, although dont take my word for it as I need to re-watch them both at some point.
Very interesting stuff indeed.
