Review of Bad Lieutenant (1992) by Matt C — 15 Sep 2011
Finally got around to seeing this although I felt like I already had as most people's descriptions boiled down to a summary of the controversial scenes. It's easy to see why though, as despite Keitel's excellent performance it's little more than dirty cop does this, then dirty cop does that.
Even the arrival of 'Jesus' at the end and an unlikely conclusion just make the whole good and evil debate seem a little laboured and clumsily done.
