Review of Bad Lieutenant (1992) by Frank J — 06 Sep 2006
A movie that shocked scared and made me glare in awe at how far a man could go with addiction as well as corruption in his life. Harvey Keitel gives one of the greatest performances that I have ever witnessed in this freakish and tramatic Drama that pierced my soul and is something that is sure to remain never as a distant memory glued to my brain, a movie that I will never forget.
The structure was so brilliant, the building up of Keitel's character as he does one screwed up thing after another and the manner to which he portrayed it in, you'd actually think he was a man of many troubles as he plays it so tremendously in this film.
He was the heart and soul in this motion picture, though this film didn't really have such content pakced inside of it. I felt so angry and sad as this film drew to it's close. A Masterpiece and Harvey Keitel has proved to be one of the top actors of his time.
