A deep down dirty film. Abal Farrara's parable asks more questions than answers and challenges the viewer's morals and spirituality, as they watch Harvey Keitel's Lieutenant slowly question his.
Farrara's best movie and outstanding acting from Keitel. Also worth catching the banned version, if only for the excellent Schooly D soundtrack that didn't make the DVD & video release.
