Review of Bad Education (2004) by Arya C — 30 Jan 2008

I've come to the conclusion that something about Almodovar's work really doesn't engage me unless it really is great work (Talk to Her). The one thing that kept my attention here was the triple-layered narrative, and the sumptuous cinematography and Hitchcockian score.

I can't genuinely rave about it as many critics did but it is a decent, slick, gay melodrama / film noir.
