The ending is corny, Rock's constant, non-stop quips are for the most part unfunny and piss you off rather than amuse you. Considering these two aspects weight the film down a bit there is still fun to be had.
Towards the end when the two 'good guys' are trying to thwart a NYC bomb annihilation it's full-blow panic ridden excitement. Yes it does lack believabilty though.
